L'Abbaye de Royaumont

Set apart from the world, in the heart of the Oise Regional Natural Park, this abbey built nearly 800 years ago is the largest Cistercian abbey in Île-de-France and features spaces that can accommodate from 10 to 600 participants.

The lush setting is just 45 minutes from Paris.

The master carpenters who worked on the abbey in the 13th century constructed it with such a sturdy framework that some of the beams installed during the Middle Ages are still in place today.

This incredible place, which became a foundation in 1964, is now an international reference in research, innovation, and transmission, especially for dance and music.

The venue offers 10 spacious meeting rooms, accessible by elevator, benefitting from natural light and large windows overlooking the park, as well as 5 large reception halls featuring a spectacular vaulted height. These spaces are equipped to meet all your needs: multimedia equipment, sound systems, lighting control, acoustic treatment, high-speed internet...

After intense days, recharge by enjoying the tranquility of the setting. Stroll through the medieval-inspired garden or the Kitchen Garden, discover the romantic ruins of the abbey church for a moment of introspection... The proximity between the meeting rooms and living spaces fosters cohesion and sharing.

The cuisine draws inspiration from the abbey's Kitchen Garden, sourcing some of its ingredients from there, along with fresh products from local French producers when possible. In a spirit of openness, you can observe the preparation of the dishes imagined and crafted by the Chef and his team through the large windows of the abbey's new kitchen.
